A BIT ABOUT STEVE AND THE SHOW:
Since his stage debut in 1982 as the staid psychiatrist in "The Girl In the Freudian Slip," Steve North has been involved in the theatre as an actor, a playwright, a producer, and a director. Recently, Steve retired after a thirty year career as a teacher and now substitute teaches in Marin. Much of the material for TALES OUT OF SCHOOL was hatched while sitting in on interminable faculty meetings. Although clearly a work of fiction, many of the events and characters skate very close to the edge of reality. Steve's tales about his life as an educator create a comedy noir that is funny, bizarre, and completely plausible.
