The core class of the Marin Actors’ Workshop is the weekly scene/monolog class.

Two different groups meet on two different nights: Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the West End Playhouse, in San Rafael.

This is where the craft is really honed. Actor and teacher work to unlock the character, to serve the playwright and to entertain the audience.

Terry McGovern, veteran actor, and former student of Milton Katselas and Stella Adler, is the instructor. Audits are welcome by appointment. The class is very sensibly priced at $110 per month. All levels and ages are welcome.
